When you see Alr 6 on your control panel, this means your humidity is low inside the incubator. Here are a few troubleshooting tips for fixing this issue.
First, you will need to check your room's humidity. You can do this by pressing the "Up" button. You will see "SnS2" followed by two numbers stacked on top of one another. The bottom number is your room's humidity. If this is much lower than your set humidity, then your Humisonic unit may have trouble rising to that percentage. In rooms that are below 50% humidity, it is important to fill at least one channel of your humidity tray. In rooms that are above 50% humidity, you do not need to fill your tray, but it needs to remain inside the incubator.
Second, if your Humisonic is not working correctly, please check that the following lights are present:
- Yellow Light on the Control Panel
- Green Light on the Humisonic Power Adapter
- Red Light on the Humisonic Unit
If you see a red light but no vapor being produced, this means that you need to replace your ceramic disk. This is the white piece located inside your Humisonic unit. These will need to be changed every 6 -12 months depending on how many times you have used the unit and what type of water you are using. We always recommend the use of distilled water.

If a green light on the power adapter is not present, you can try plugging it into the right side of the control panel where the Conturn Power Adapter is plugged in. If it does not turn on, then the power adapter may need to be replaced. If it does turn on, then there may be a cable loose in the Humisonic outlet on the left side of the control panel. You can remove the lid to the control panel and check the orange cable that plugs into that outlet by unplugging and plugging it back in.
